Residency Requirements
The Sequoyah Regional Technology Fair is open to all students in grades 3-12 who live in Cherokee County and the surrounding areas. You may be a public, private, or a home-schooled student.
Students who live in counties north or east of Cherokee County are welcome to compete in the Sequoyah Regional Technology Competition. If you live in another county, you are welcome to ask for permission to compete. However, be aware that priority is given to Cherokee County students and those who are not served by an existing competition. There is no promise to be allowed to compete.
If a student is in a neighboring county where there is not a regional technology competition, he or she may apply to enter the Sequoyah Regional Technology Competition. Those students will be accepted as space is available in the category they are entering.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Mrs. Haggerty, Regional Director, at 770/479-7077 or judi.haggerty@cherokee.k12.ga.us or judi.haggerty@sequoyahtechfair.org
